Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTIN MEDINA GONZALES November 12, 1916 - December 1, 2009 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Martin Gonzales on December 1, 2009 at home at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his brother Jose Gonzales, his sister Nena Santos, and his daughter Amelia Gonzales Ayadi. Martin was the eldest of five children born and raised in Paranaque City, Philippines to the late Oligario and Tomasa Gonzales. He was the beloved husband of Teofila Gonzales for over 63 years. Martin will forever be remembered by his devoted sisters Aida Abarca, and Lolita Taleon, loving children Jose, Wilfredo, Rebecca, and Marietta, treasured grandchildren Homer, Rommel, Dennis, Jeffrey, Gilbert, Katrina, Rowena, Wilfredo Jr., Christian, and Christine, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Martin was an accomplished barber who enjoyed conversing with clients and was an avid sports fan who adored watching boxing and professional wrestling. Martin touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humour and sarcasm all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend Lamay from 7:00 p.m. til 12:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
